Downstream equipment includes the thermal connection or interface with the DES, secondary distribution systems in the building, and terminal units. drift water droplets carried from a cooling tower or evaporative condenser by a stream of air passing through the system. Drift eliminators capture these droplets and return them to the reservoir at the bottom of the cooling tower or evaporative condenser for recirculation.
